Seated in heavenly places

As believers in Jesus Christ, He and Father God come and abide in us by the Holy Spirit, and in this born again experience our citizenship is transformed from earth to heaven. The Bible, the word of God, promises that as those who know Him, confessing Him as Lord and Saviour, and seeking His face, are also co-heirs of Christ, sons and daughters of Father God, and our spirits are already seated in heavenly places at the right of Glory. It is from this place we see God's plans for our lives, and His kingdom come. It is from this place, found in Christ, we intercede and prophesy with Him for the things He reveals and anoints us in travail and decree. Our authority is from Christ, and as we join in His word and will, we know He watches over His word to perform it. This is our confidence...in Him alone.

Come let us rise in to the King's Canopy by entering the upper chamber-room of Christ by the Holy Spirit. In this place of intimacy, and His presence, where we seek Him, and know Him, the Lord reveals His secrets, and draws us closer to Himself. Here we are so lost in Him, where it is no longer us the lives, but Christ in us, and His breath is our breath, His heart beat is ours, and His thoughts consume our mind.

And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. (Ephesians 2:1-9)
